Anonymous Coward User ID: 70732524 United States 12/03/2015 08:19 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | Senate Minority Leader Harry Reid is planning to force a vote on a gun control amendment, in the wake of two recent mass shooting incidents in the U.S. — one on Wednesday in San Bernardino, California and the other last Friday in Colorado Springs, Colorado. In response to the Colorado Springs shooting at a Planned Parenthood clinic that killed three people and injured nine more, Reid (D-Nev.) filed an amendment which would ban gun possession by anyone convicted of misdemeanor violations of the Freedom of Access to Clinic Entrances Act, Politico reported Wednesday. Quoting: Anonymous Coward 69391698 In a statement on Wednesday after the San Bernardino shooting, Reid said there is no excuse for inaction on gun safety legislation, urging for “common sense gun reforms” to prevent criminals and people with mental illnesses from obtaining weapons. “Yet again our country is faced with another sickening act of gun violence perpetrated against innocent people,” he said. “Gun violence has become a cancer on this nation. We are better than this. Too often we are turning on our televisions to scenes of horror like those we are witnessing today. This madness must stop.” [link to www.ibtimes.com] Only if they make " going devout Muslim" a misdemeanor, Harry But seriously, won't this jeopardize the felon vote the democrats have been so assiduously courting ? |

User ID: 70831604 United States 12/03/2015 08:45 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | I'd be screwed, I had a worthless child misdemeanor when I was 19 for 6.00$, I went to jail for 14 days for it and didn't get out until I was denied a lawyer because it was a non jailable offense. Only time I have ever been in trouble. |

Quoting: Air daddy56 70388953 Screw that, I'm sick of the drug test ppl like you, what someone does in their own time is nobodies business. Until they can get a drug test that determines when someone did a certain drug and how much, I don't think they should be allowed for anything. And no I don't use drugs, but every time I go to the dr I have to pee in a cup in front of someone, and so do the older ppl and it's bullshit, I watch a lot of them struggle bc they are like 70-80 and never peed in front of someone, but they can't get their meds without doing it, it's horrible. Even ppl in wheelchairs. I wish a drugs were Legal, it would solve so many problems. |
