Scott Weiland's passing... TRIBUTE

so it's not just me..
He helped me make the pass on the right road.

Fuck.

Don't know what to say.

The guitarist Jeremy, from the band he was on tour with, died at the end of March- one day before the record was released.

RIP.

That's why it doesn't pay to be famous. They get you into drugs, sex, alcohol and you wind up either dead or in prison or fucking broke.


And stupid people think it's fun being famous and shit.
You don't realize most of these folks made deals with devil, so to speak, and it costs them everything.
So please do not ever envy a famous person.
A lot of times, fame and fortune is not all it's. Cracked up to be.

Alway liked STP, even when people labelled them as posers - never really understood that. Scott was a true talent and will be missed..

This was one of my favorites.

STP was the perfect blend of Alt Rock & Pop and created fantastic songs. They were never "posers" as some people say.

Scott Weiland was great vocalist.

Scott seemed like a nice guy, but I never liked STP and thought they were just a pretty overrated bar band. Very few good rock bands come out of Southern California, because quite simply, the weather is too nice so people are uninspired to write deeply emotional music. That's one of the reasons British rock is so good: the dark weather makes people introspective and moody.

He wasn't perfect.But he wasn't all bad, Sometimes a persons voice makes the hurt go away for a short time. Even it makes the singer die a little inside.

SO true! Expression of the pain.... allowed some release through these bands. Innately, one can not deny that there was still a soul expression (that had not been entirely corrupted) within their music.

Yea, he did make it a lot longer than I thought. Definitely was looking pretty thing at that time with velvet.

You don't have to like the guy. Was he the best musician? Hell no. You can think he's a fag, a druggie, a waste, an a$$hole rockstar, whatever....
But he was a musician and had a degree of talent. Bottom line. That is why I made this thread.
