My theory on why they went hot early...

They got wind/info of being watched/found out and wanted ta go out with a bang before they were arrested/stopped.

I maintain that is one possibility. It is plausible for sure. So far they have been careful not to release that bit of "smoking gun" evidence to the press/public that will tell us most of what we need. No real motive present, no real tell tale sign that will show us down the road to the truth. And not to mention straight from FBI's mouth just hours after the shooting occurred they are scrubbing/have scrubbed all of the internet data regards to the two alleged shooters.


We may not know for a while, it seems. After all it took two days to get a picture of the female.

Maybe the package was held up and was intended to get to them before they acted.

This is highly possible, UPS/USPS both delayed packages destined for me this past week, both with the holiday and the awful weather Chicago was experiencing, it is very possible. However, it being from sears.com ... I wonder if that's truly something they needed for their op. My thought is that it was something along the lines of tools for their IED garage shop, either some nice Craftman tools (the total estimation for the garage is being totaled around 15,000 dollars) or it was something they were using for their IED's like ball bearings!
