There is an even smaller generation between Gen X and Millenials..It ranges from 1976-1982.

The Xennials.

Forced between a shit sandwich of never ending recessions and cultural disillusion.

We don't belong anywhere..but outside the bag.

Xennials
Xennials (also known as the Oregon Trail Generation and Generation Catalano) are the micro-generation of people on the cusp of the Generation X and Millennial demographic cohorts, typically born in the late 1970s to early 1980s. Xennials are described as having had an analog childhood and a digital adulthood.

In 2017, Xennial was included in Merriam-Webster's "Words We're Watching" section, which discusses new words which are increasingly being used, but which do not yet meet criteria for a dictionary entry.

I think he had a genius understanding of things.. that was before his time.

He got It and was able to put it into a tangible form that was easily digestible by those that could relate.

Everything he says makes sense.

Relationships are difficult and doesn't reflect poorly on his genius in any way, for me.

Bankruptcy of Lehman Brothers

The filing for Chapter 11 bankruptcy protection by Lehman Brothers on September 15, 2008 remains the largest bankruptcy filing in U.S. history, with Lehman holding over US$600 billion in assets.

The bank and financial services firm had become so deeply involved in mortgage origination that it had effectively become a real estate hedge fund disguised as an investment bank. At the height of the subprime mortgage crisis, it was exceptionally vulnerable to any downturn in real estate values.

The bankruptcy triggered a one-day drop in the Dow Jones Industrial Average of 4.5%, at the time, the largest decline since the September 11, 2001 attacks.

I appreciate the concern but I am not currently depressed. I just know my propensity for it, if certain conditions are met.

One of those conditions..is overwhelming grief. I have people/pets in my life I utilize as anchors and a reason, for sticking around..

The threat of losing my dog last November..was a very real likelihood that those conditions would be met.

If my dog had died..I would have had to struggle with not only his death, but willing my own and falling into unmanageable depression. When it gets really bad..all the joy and color for life turns to gray. Food tastes like ashes. It's really awful..and that's why people opt out.

I'm still here and I still have hope we can get through this without a major loss of life or lifestyle.

Hopelessness at the current situation..has not set in. Which is a good thing.

We started some seeds a little over a week ago and set up some lights and such. Two of the seeds were from years back and we didn't think they'd pop, and didn't at first and then put them in water and those popped too.

Should be able to sex them in a month or so.

Something to try.

I like to have a big garden but just don't have the space or the light. Lots of shade in my backyard due to trees.

Thanks for the good vibes. The Sun always helps. Hope you have a nice day too.

I detect a bias. However, Never before has a generation been so over indulged.

My guess is we are seeing an erosion in the moderating class; while both extremes( rich and poor) are reproducing themselves w/o any restraint.

My guess is also that multi generational families are still seeing new arrivals.

The point is the Lehman Brother's collapse causes an entire generation of Japanese people to give up on the prospect of having a family. Just was not is not economically viable, and they are worked to death on the regular. No time for kids. Millenials the world over have echoed the same sentiment.

One thing I know for sure..only an idiot would allow themselves to get pregnant at this time. Filling the world with more idiots. Workers. It's the perfect plan.
