I think it is the dark side that teaches us the most about ourselves. Especially the lengths one would go.

Not officially. There was an old Harvard(?) professor at my first forum..that took me under his wing..

After I came here, I saw his traits in others that I resonated with.

I guess what I consider dark side is utilizing the force for selfish wants. My resistance to said wants...led to dark forces on either side.

I was thinking about that a lot last night.


So cute. I miss my kitty so much. I'd love to be able to get a new kitten. Just not in the cards.

I think you misunderstood my questions. I asked if you have been a mentor, and if so, do you think your mentee(s) would see you as being on the dark or light side.

Oh I see..yeah I'm still pretty groggy from sleep.

I was a nanny..but never an official mentor. The kiddos loved me. I enjoyed being around them which really helps.

K and I had a bit of a relationship like that. Maybe pi a bit.

They were younger than me..so I kinda saw it like that.
I can do dark and light..there are grey Jedis too.

I think what I was attempting to relay here..is I've learned a whole lot more from the Dark side..than I ever did from the 'love and light' crowd.

There are definitely aspect of the Dark side I never want to revisit..but having experienced it, I know better how to avoid it.


I don't see Dark side as being evil per se.

I do see forcing people into rituals against their will..to be a very dark aspect of using the Force. Hence the vid with Kylo and Rey when he is using the force on her.

They portray it quite well.
