Anonymous Coward User ID: 77769393 United States 08/11/2020 10:03 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | Funny story.. Quoting: Seer777 When we first arrived I decided to tackle the fear thing head-on and immediately took my dog for a small walk. We walked 2 campsites down...tured around and was going to walk back the other way when I noticed a herd of children on bikes coming toward me and following them..was an unleashed dog. I felt that twinge..picked up my dog and made a b-line for my campsite when I heard the kids calling their dog. I knew it was coming for me. Second later I turned around and it was behind me. It was goldendoddle..instead of scared I suddenly realized the sync and found it kind of funny. They called their dog again and he left. After that I walked my dog around with a little less fear. Last night I met a labradoodle named Maxwell I instantly thought of this conversation I am glad you had such a great time I hope you stood on a rock barefoot Appreciate you saying. :) I did not stand on a rock this last time..but I'll make a note of it for next time. We're looking at possibly leaving tomorrow and then again Sunday/Monday. :) Good times |

Cold Water Cove [link to www.muddycamper.com (secure)] The Blue Pool: [link to www.muddycamper.com (secure)] Dam Seer, that looks utterly amazing. *Adds a note to bucket list* Oregon is beautiful. I've lived here all my life and seen only a small fraction of it. All I have wanted since March, was to go camping/fishing. After months of literally begging every day and being refused, I gave up.. Up until last week, I hadn't been past my front porch since April. Now we got the van all decked out for van camping. We picked up a really nice free full mattress people were giving away to upgrade to a queen in their guest room, 2 days ago off Craig's List.. They even threw in the Calvin Klein sheets. I use to sell those back in the day..they aren't cheap. It fits perfect in the back of the van. So comfy. :) Sounds like you've got a great setup there Seer, and luck was on your side. Certainly deserve it Thanks Sol. Gonna try to leave here in a few hours. :) Difficulties strengthen the Mind as labor does the body... ~Seneca |

I have never been that way, but a niece just moved to Oregon and she loves it. OFc she does, lol, before that she was in Connecticut or NJ or some place East of the Mississippi? So, I am leery camping, only because of all the covid hoops as I hate being told no or shut down on something I am doing. Plus, I just recall, we have about 70k acres burning near by. camping in this area prolly would not be so much fun? I am jelly though. My niece is very at peace now living in Oregon. |
