I read up to this point but I wanted to make a point about this.

When Walt Disney created Snow White, one of his major themes he wanted to know, is IF people could suspend their disbelief in drawings such that they could empathize with the characters.

Animation and 'funny' was entangled at the time, but Walt wanted to know if he could make people cry.


In early screenings of what was a monumental feat in human artistic endevor..Walt found people and children screaming in the audience during the scary woods scene, running out of the theater and sobbing when Snow White died surrounded by the 7 Dwarves.


People can/will suspend their disbelief in any story, if they can relate to it personally.

Regardless of the medium.
