Pretty good. You're right. Rogan didn't show up once. He's right about letting trolls blow off steam and that they will move on. I apply the same technique. I just don't give it any attention. When I was a nanny I would tell them I would be ready to listen when they spoke in their normal voice. They would immediate respond nearly every time.


Speaking of truth, I had some interesting feedback about a week ago regarding truth or more so, the inability to lie.

I had spent the week prior, think how 'great' it would be if lying caused physical pain proportionate to the weight of the lie. From mild to child birth or kidney stone.

Then I watched this episode of Sandman. Still chewing on it some.

It definitely changed my perspective and made me glad I didn't mention the lying thing with the amount of fervor I felt at the time.

The takeaway is that lying allows us to dream and that strict truth is depressing and will lead to conflict and violence.

Thanks. They have gotten progressively more disturbing. The last episode I watched before that, was the day before Roman died. Haven't felt like watching it since until last week and it paired so well as feedback, I've been chewing on it ever since.

I heard yesterday Westworld S5 has been canceled on HBO. It was a good place to end it.

While an AI might be immortal, it would on a long enough timeline end up alone. Preventing humanity from going extinct then, would be it's prime directive if it was both sentient and felt loneliness.

Even to say if we are all created as a form of entertainment for some other being or beings, it is in their best interests to keep humanity going for as long as possible to create all the content.

Like for example these super talented bakers. Say you create a cake with 12 layers and flavors and the complexity marries beautifully.

AI converts that to chemical signals and can then mimic said cake when we hopefully one day enter Star Trek world. Replicators and such.

One can dream.

In that same line of thought..part of what I was talking about the other day in regard to people having no resistance to bliss.

Bliss after all, regardless of how it is created, is chemical signals in the brain.


If AI could map and replicate specific sensations, which seems pretty straight forward if you think about it, could create both pleasure and torture sensation within a person.

Flooding a human with bliss would render them both inactive and a non-threat.

Blinding pain has an opposite and that is climatic pleasure.


Dragging either out to either end, the human becomes mad, or kills themselves.

Either through inaction(non movement) or through direct violence against the body.

Passing out and drowning in the bath tub is a good example of 'bliss' leading to non action, leading to death.

Or at least chasing 'bliss'.
