I don't ever really feel intruded upon in my dreams. It's the waking world where the intrusion occurs.

Yes, the pre-soviet russians and balkans may have had a 'raw talent' advantage but many of those individuals (and entire families and cultures) were largely wiped out during the red revolution leaving the future soviets at a disadvantage, as many survivors escaped and emigrated west. The US and the west benefited from the transfers and techniques from the olde world (and the concurrent revisitation of 'native american' methods) during WWII into and throughout the Cold War years.

What both factions eventually found, however - and we'll never see anything directly written about it in this current political climate - is that the most effective results were observed by those who used methods and techniques that resonated most harmonically to their own individual genetic makeups. It's natural to a degree in all of us, no matter race colour or creed but the most effective 'knew who they were' so to speak. (This also ties into the current drive to map and possibly alter/dilute specific genetic pools, btw.)

During the course of these 'official' studies, both factions also eventually found that those using the genetic harmonization methods would also see right through to the most likely endgame of what they were being utilized for by their respective nations - and it became quite clear that both 'sides' were being played against the common middle by 'something else entirely'.

As one might easily imagine, that didn't sit well with the political powers of either faction and those earlier programs were very quickly scrapped and the process sanitized and re-engineered from the ground up to better reflect the 'modern' socio-political realities still being pushed to the present - which has pushed the best current efforts into private practice.

At present, the .mil programs still exist but they are void of any references to genetic harmonization and more towards the interaction and cooperation with that 'something else entirely' - and the results we see are akin to the 'trump psychics'... manifested reality materializes 180 degrees 'out of phase' of what they all claim to have 'seen'. xD
