It feels to me like fear is always the key when there, though. If I held fear of it, it would have power over me. There was one time I gave in. Not out of fear but out of irritation. I would be dog piled by flesh eating wraiths at times. Usually I would just blast them off in a force push, but one time I said "fuck it" and they consumed me. I did not wake up. No, I went somewhere else, and was my full being. So powerful I felt. We have discussed it in the past. For me, it felt like total peace. And being enormously vast and flat. Totally black. No thoughts. Just sensation of ineffable weight. Which I believe is why what I perceived as my lingering consciousness, felt pressed perfectly flat. That would scare me with the wraiths. I have had similar experience. I learned to block quite effectively due to it.
