Quoting: Ava9 Evening, I think I will read the link tomorrow Hey Fancy :) Okay! Let me know your thoughts regarding :) How was your party last night? I will Hahahaha, I don't even know how to say. The hostess chewed me out in text after I left. She's never been mad at me before and after talking with others about the situation, she had no reason to be mad at me. I went despite the risk and stayed over an hour which I thought was enough time. Apparently not, lol She was under high volume of emotional stress and took it out on me(projected) for her situation she put herself in. I don't mind I guess. She will realize it, I'm sure. |

Quoting: Ava9 It is a symptom of narcissism. Rampant behavior on GLP. To attack that by which one feels threatened anonymously and for no reason other than what the attacker feels justified in the moment to categorically destroy. It's a form of witch burning that exists only in the mind attacking the object or person that insults. You are absolutely correct. [link to www.youtube.com (secure)] Vanity...is definitely my favorite sin. It is so basic, Self-love. The all-natural opiate... Difficulties strengthen the Mind as labor does the body... ~Seneca |

I've seen it referenced more than once here. I don't equate vanity with self love though. There's a difference between confidence and narcissism. Someone who truly loves them self, doesn't need to tear others down. |

I used to be terrified of confrontation, and would purposely tip toe around people, just to avoid it (though I'm still guilty of doing it with some people). I have been experiencing something interesting. I get pushed into sadness and pain, and while in it, I feel the one pushing me. I feel the pride and joy of it, for hurting me, as it makes its way through. Their smile pierces onto my lips. "Where is your heart now?" Somewhere you will never be able to reach. |

At the very least, the perpetual focus seems to quell cellular excitation, which is very rudimentarily desirable. Enhanced appetite & reduced potential for insomnia appear to be among the most immediately conspicious benefits. Also, niacinamide is good people. And I start that job in just a few more days.
