Hahahaha, I don't even know how to say. The hostess chewed me out in text after I left. She's never been mad at me before and after talking with others about the situation, she had no reason to be mad at me. I went despite the risk and stayed over an hour which I thought was enough time. Apparently not, lol
She was under high volume of emotional stress and took it out on me(projected) for her situation she put herself in. I don't mind I guess. She will realize it, I'm sure.

I understand. I don't like it either. I used to be terrified of confrontation, and would purposely tip toe around people, just to avoid it (though I'm still guilty of doing it with some people). You inevitably get tired of being treated like a doormat, when you keep it up for too long. The danger then, is going too far to the extreme, in the opposite direction.

I am soooo like that too. Yes, I'm learning this lesson. Authentic self, not to be a doormat but not overbearing as well.
