How is it not blatantly obvious as a born freedom loving American, that people who are the backbones of our communities, are being 'quarantined'(imprisoned) by just have POTENTIALLY come in contact with someone, who was infected?

Potentially is the BIG word here.

Prawns are in quarantine. No one wants them around. That is why they are segregated.

It's utterly retarded to think this isn't already everywhere and stopgap measures like locking police/fire personal/teachers/and doctors..is worth good God damn.

"....[San Francisco Mayor London] Breed reportedly sent a copy of the shelter-in-place order that went into effect on March 17 to de Blasio in case it could be of use. When de Blasio shared the order with New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo, the governor reportedly derided the order and said that the term "shelter in place" sounded "like it was a response to a nuclear apocalypse" and would scare people...."
