Looking at this image..he appears to have massive edema of the right leg. Can't hide the way it is stretched across his thigh like that.

Heart failure? Seems almost poetic.

I just spent $4.99 to rent this movie on Amazon Prime. The dramatic irony couldn't be greater..

Where will it lead.

In the 4th-6th grade I was in a Christian school that didn't allow the kids to talk during lunch. We were expected to sit there and finish our meal without uttering a single word to the other kids at the table.

There were adults that would stand around the tables to make sure, no one would talk.

One time I decided to talk and the adult woman standing close asked me why I chose to 'do it'. I told her, sometimes you just have to get it out..

I was given detention. The second and last time I ever served any. The first time, was because I had to pee. I was 8.


That's what this whole movie feels like..but for the adults too. Sad.

You can see it in their eyes.

By movie, I mean country and by sad I mean..imagine being born at Sunday school and having to live there the rest of your life.

Cult country.

Every song, every story, every poem, every dance, every image, every bit of art.. is a form of worship of one man, and 2 successors.

No one talks. Males all wear gray or dark blue. Less than human by adulthood. Blank faced automatons.


Documentary is difficult to get through but worth the effort.
