you avoided the question, you have dreams of a highly technological future where consciousness is not restricted to the human form alone, so how does that juxtapose with a shamanistic sense of being?

In that same line of thought..part of what I was talking about the other day in regard to people having no resistance to bliss. Bliss after all, regardless of how it is created, is chemical signals in the brain. If AI could map and replicate specific sensations, which seems pretty straight forward if you think about it, could create both pleasure and torture sensation within a person. Flooding a human with bliss would render them both inactive and a non-threat. Blinding pain has an opposite and that is climatic pleasure. Dragging either out to either end, the human becomes mad, or kills themselves.
Either through inaction(non movement) or through direct violence against the body. [ link to youtu.be (secure)] Passing out and drowning in the bath tub is a good example of 'bliss' leading to non action, leading to death. Or at least chasing 'bliss'. At the end of the day, we're all content creators. Like Sync was saying. Some are better at it than others.
