Wouldnt be the first time I've discovered stuff randomly deleted well after the fact.
Terminator was doing as it was programmed - eliminating threats - much as children were once trained from birth to kill the heathen/infidel.
Fatalist approach is what led to its creation - much like the dead man's switch for Russia's nukes
Who knows...maybe humanity, and its children, will grow beyond the past and stop viewing the "other" as a threat - no matter its form
