Finding things to do keep myself busy or my mind occupied, takes up all the space between unconsciousness.

Headed back to the beach here in a few days. We had to come back to get our puppy spayed.

She is recuperating well. Back to her frisky, humping self.

They do a pretty good job at the dentist´s office with the teeth whitening. Chemicals and lights.

I have not done it but it´s there. A bit expensive, but effective.

Have you ever heard of a poke cake? I learned about it one of the baking shows I’ve watched.

Planning on making this tonight. About to make my first lemon curd. Has to chill for an hour at least.

Discovery+ yeah. I can't recall which show it was I saw Duff Goldman on first(judging) and then found Kid's baking Championship. I was curious how everyone seemed to know who he is, and then I found Ace of Cakes. It has been fun watching him progress but backward. I started at the his most recent stuff.

I can definitely see how the foundation of what he would eventually become pretty early in Ace of Cakes. Benefit of completely shunning all cable Tv for over a decade is everything is new to me. No commercial either.


Duff is my generation, just a few years older. He reminds me of me and my friends back before they all had kids.

I tried to find the Ace of Cakes intro but came up empty.

It's very 2007.

Lying in bed last night just before I fell asleep I saw what I can only describe as 'insect world'.

The sky looked completely foreign to our own in which a huge planet that took up a good portion of the sky and everything way more muted and metallic. Lots of rocks.

I've heard some mantis stories and one of the the first things that popped in my mind on seeing this, was 'Mantis World'.

Just thought I'd make a note.
