There's another 27+ links on the bottom of this dump.. The victorian era was certainly not the time to be a witch (or a psychic in any capacity, really) When I think about it, it's super appropriate Freud was from that time. The sexual repression/tension was very real and back then everything was actually probably based on underlying sexual tension like freud said. Interesting how culture shapes psychology in such essential ways. Now that "it's not real" (magic), nobody cares about witches - it's "cute"
