I switched back to The Orville yesterday. Made more banana bread. It had been close to 2 weeks since the last time.

I hear you..I wouldn’t watch The Walking Dead either. I find zombies endlessly boring and gross. Huge market for zombies though. A lot of people love that show. My partner among them.


I looked it up yesterday and the fairy bloodline plot line, takes place in season 3. I was trying not to give spoilers but if you aren’t gonna watch it, I don’t see a problem.

My biggest complaint about True Blood is how dirty they did Tara. She is tortured through the series and her acting skills are so good that at times it becomes nauseating to watch.

Tara is one of my favorite characters and I would have liked to see her have at least some good and not terribly distressing things happen to her.

That’s how I remember it anyway.


In regard to hybrids, and Jesus and Mary… I consider the story/myth to be similar to that of cambions.

I wasn’t sure about these the first couple but they grew on me.

They’re fun. I’ve never played DnD but I feel like I understand it better now.

DnD is really fun. Playing is one thing, DMing quite another.
It takes a LOT of time and effort to plan for even just one session that isn't a by the book pre-made cookie cutter adventure. Same goes for many things I suppose, massive effort behind the scenes to create something that on the surface 'just works'.
That said those official campaigns and pre-made adventures are the bread and butter for many and are typically amazing in their own right; though the really good fun (imo) happens when things have been customized or written from scratch with a world that the players are building along with the DM through their actions, unique characters as well as the players' real personalities.
Nothing so boring as a lifeless world with a forced linear progression story.
