Similar to yourself, ignore, block, "shield wall", passive reflection, be wrapped in thorns.

That last one relates to Thurisaz and opposing brute force (as giants use). It's passive/reactive but directed to the target/intrusive brute energy.
Allow them to bash, pricking themselves over and over eventually burning out.
Why expend energy when you can let them take care of themselves? Below is a rune/spell song/poem that I have paired with visualizations. There are strong associations with Thor/Mjolnir, hence the hammer reference. Also worth noting is that nightingales nest in blackthorn in order to protect themselves from predators. There's a whole Fae rabbit hole to go down with that as well.

May as well add to what you're already doing, so at the "door", wrapped around it.

You could add a layer by visualizing past the threshold, but the door sounds like it's effective as is.
Feel free to add a "beware of dog" type sign, they might just bugger off without injuring themselves.
