That video, why we fear our highest self... I believe that to be true, but oddly enough we need stimuli outside of ourselves to help us understand some of the subconscious things within ourselves...

And they can be found in odd places. I recently found out how trading was super spiritual even though it's the last place you'd expect it, like Law.

None of this was new to me, and most of this I already knew about myself but perhaps I saw it through a not perfect lens...

I deposited small money in a trading account, lost, waited a few more days while trading on a demo account, however between mindset and possibly manipulation I lost on my second deposit even though I had thought I figured something out.

Regardless of potential manipulation, I wasn't the same as on my demo account...

The point is that it gave me insight into my sub conscious, at least partly... And that was invaluable.

Yeah, much like before I learned some Law, never did I think I'd say "open up a trading account with a small amount of money if you wanna learn about yourself"

Merely gave me further insight and/or a different lens to view things I was already slightly aware of

Well said..You know what they say..when you succeed, you fail to fail.

Failure often teaches us more than winning.

New perspectives and the tools we then have, or lens like you say, to move forward and meet challenge better the next time.

I was thinking about it on the way home, the 4th of this month will be 8 months no alcohol. I just passed the 8 years no cigarettes, in January.

$10/day(lowball) for beer in 8 months I’ve saved..$2400.

At $10/day for cigarettes before I quit I’ve saved.. $30,000 in just over 8 years.

Adds up fast.

If I work 100 hour weeks just to have a host of beggars hit me up as soon as I'm done, I'm not going to live lean just so it can happen again.
