Re: WARNING! Stay sober this Christmas!
i agree and will not be getting drunk this christmas.most people i know here in the uk are not christians but celebrate christmas by getting drunk and partying.i mean, they dont even believe in jesus but have a massive party over the festive period.... this year i will be remaining sober and keeping watch.godbless you for your thoughts!

Its a CHRISTIAN holiday. Its about CHRIST. Sadly the world thinks its all about how many presents, food and drink you can get. Its a satanic deception. The ultimate perversion of the truth of Christ. There is much more to Christmas 2015 than meets the EYE.

Thank you brother for spending your time to point this out.

Re: WARNING! Stay sober this Christmas!
From your post, I can see that Judas Iscariot did exactly what Jesus told him to do. He did not reject the Lord's goodwill. Jesus was making a symbol through the bread. Now after the piece of bread, Satan entered him, it says. Entered who? Hey? Judas or Jesus?

Then the Philemon reference, that's what Paul says to non-apostles and to gentiles. It also says that about God, but it does not say anything about what Satan cannot use us to do things.

Now, I learned to celebrate the birth of Jesus on 9/11, 3BC. It came around that way, seems relevant. I am happy to celebrate it differently because of the materialism around idolatry at Christmas with statues of things and other ideas in the way that saturate the minds of people into coveting and greed. already had my party.

The Lord's cup and the Lord's bread unworthy only matters when you're invited to the Lord's table. The bread and cup of that is not always the material bread and cup. Paul is talking about the responsibility of infinite actions and infinite perfections of those actions, positive or negative. It's something like karma.

Hearts dulled by carousing is not eating. It's watching TV and going to sports and drinking at the parties and clubs and things like that. Where nobody cares, that's dull heart. The worries of everyday living. wow. yeah, that's my problem.

Christmas wasn't around with Paul. in fact Paul as a talking apostle in the books, so he calls himself but you might want to read it more. Don't rewrite the verses to add Christmas to fit your argument Christ mass was not a feature of Paul's time. Lots of Roman holidays, Saturnalia for example, where there was carousing.

The Thessalonians argument was that most people plan a little while for a certain time of safety, but the Christians knew about eternity, nothing was forever with peace.

C
This is why i dont drink anymore, over-eat or eat fake food.

This is why I exercise.

It affects my brain and I am fully aware, except it and embrace this knowing.

I will be sharp and present at all times so when shit goes down, I will be strong.

Even if I die, or know I am going to die, at least I will be fully conscious before it takes place, so I can link into the force and be fully aware for the experience.

Re: WARNING! Stay sober this Christmas!
I agree with you OP. Only a few weeks ago I gave up hard liquor and started to fast and pray more. I still smoke and have the odd beer but I want to be as ready as possible for this Christmas. Its just a sense I have. I will watch catalina enter bootes (the sickle) and so much more. I hope to watch the full moon rise Christmas day at 6:11 EST (11:11) universal time. It will also be interesting to watch this upcoming week with regards to what happens "in the world". I will be watching with immense interest. No partying, no shopping etc. I am working on a few scrapbooks and things for family. Peace

I absolutely agree.
We will be staying sober here, but we don't party anyhow so no problem, watch and look up He is coming in the clouds , and every eye will see him, including those who pierced him and all the families of the earth will mourn over him. This is certain. Amen Revelation 1:7-8

it was his OWN wedding, that was why he was reluctant to do it because he didn't want it to seem like he was showing off, but was being meek, but in the end, to make his mother happy, he did it. He was a nice good Jewish boy like that. Very sweet.

Either way, all remain sober is correct.
