Christmas is just an arbitrary pagan holiday Christians claimed to celebrate birth of Christ. Jesus was probably born in March or April.

Re: WARNING! Stay sober this Christmas!
Judas Iscariot, betrayed the Lord because he had rejected the Lord's goodwill, as a result, his heart couldn't be kept safe from Satan's influence at the Lord's Supper.

"Jesus answered, “It is he to whom I shall give a piece of bread when I have dipped it.” And having dipped the bread, He gave it to Judas Iscariot, the son of Simon. Now after the piece of bread, Satan entered him. Then Jesus said to him, “What you do, do quickly." [John 13:26,27]

When we're continuously being filled with good intentions, as a direct result of believing in the Lord, Satan cannot use us to do wicked things to others.

"...It is God who works in you both to will and do for His good pleasure.[Phil.2:13]

Whether Christmas Day is the actual Day of the Lord's birth or not is irrelevant. What's important is that all those who partake in the Christmas Feast are Christians in word and in deed. And are not Christians in name only.

The Christmas Feast, believe it or not, is the equivalent of the Lord's Supper. It's a Day we celebrate the Lord's incarnation, and therefore shouldn't be used as an opportunity to get drunk and eat excessively!

"Therefore, whoever eats the Lord’s bread or drinks the Lord’s cup in an unworthy manner will be guilty of desecrating the body and blood of the Lord! So let a person examine himself first, and then he may eat of the bread and drink from the cup; for a person who eats and drinks without recognizing the body eats and drinks judgment upon himself. This is why many among you are weak and sick, and some have died! If we would examine ourselves, we would not come under judgment. But when we are judged by the Lord, we are being disciplined, so that we will not be condemned along with the world." [1 Cor.11:27-32]

Note carefully how the Lord's Words appear to highlight how billions of so-called Christians the World over, celebrate Christmas Day:

“But keep watch on yourselves, or your hearts will become dulled by carousing [that is, excessive eating], drunkenness and the worries of everyday living, and that Day will be sprung upon you suddenly like a trap! For it will close in on everyone, no matter where they live, throughout the whole world. Stay alert, always praying that you will have the strength to escape all the things that will happen and to stand in the presence of the Son of Man.” [Luke 21:34-36]

Even Paul may have been referring to Christmas Day when he said:

"For when they [that is, billions of so-called Christians at Christmas] say, “Peace and safety [that is, peace and goodwill to all men]!” then sudden destruction comes upon them, as labor pains upon a pregnant woman. And they shall not escape. But you, brethren, are not in darkness, so that this Day should overtake you as a thief." [1 Thess.5:3,4]

You quote Philippians. Do you know who Polycarpus is? Because I didn't know this aspect of what I perceive is Paul/Pol/Apollos...until a few days ago.

Google Polycarpus and if you don't yet know that name, you'll receive a surprise! chuckle

No. Only the sober will survive. Do you really want to be out of your mind when TSHTF?
 Quoting: SatanClaws

I agree. Remain sober as these are sobering times. Also be aware that drunkeness, as spoken of in the Book, does not necessarily infer strong drink. It is a state of being, and many have become excessively drunk.

Re: WARNING! Stay sober this Christmas!
I agree with you OP. Only a few weeks ago I gave up hard liquor and started to fast and pray more. I still smoke and have the odd beer but I want to be as ready as possible for this Christmas. Its just a sense I have. I will watch catalina enter bootes (the sickle) and so much more. I hope to watch the full moon rise Christmas day at 6:11 EST (11:11) universal time. It will also be interesting to watch this upcoming week with regards to what happens "in the world". I will be watching with immense interest. No partying, no shopping etc. I am working on a few scrapbooks and things for family. Peace

Its a CHRISTIAN holiday. Its about CHRIST. Sadly the world thinks its all about how many presents, food and drink you can get. Its a satanic deception. The ultimate perversion of the truth of Christ. There is much more to Christmas 2015 than meets the EYE.

Re: WARNING! Stay sober this Christmas!
If Satan didn't enter Judas until AFTER Jesus kissed him, doesn't that mean that Satan wasn't there in the first place, and it was really Jesus that decided who to allow Satan into? That means Judas was just a vessel.

Sorta like in the old testament when all those plagues were visited upon Egypt, each time Pharoah WAS going to let the Israelites go, BUT GOD HARDENED HIS HEART.

like father, like son?

shit runs pretty deep.

all that mind control garbage.

to my way of thinking, the original intent of the "last supper" wasn't cannibalism but SHARING.

the truth of Christ is that he wasn't born on dec 25th --- and that anyone with a sincere desire to do so, can achieve Christ Consciousness ... without joining a Religion

it is probably best if you do not celebrate the xmass "satanic (pagan rituals) deception" associated with the non-birth day of Jesus, instead of inviting the wrath of god, for participating in the the worship of the Sun God's return on the Winter Solstice - he told us that he is a jealous god ... so you can't say that you weren't warned
