Keep in mind that in the PRC, the government owns everything making them the perfect tool to bring on global dictatorship. Yes most urban Canadians do not realize how interwoven the two races are now. We've been interbreeding for centuries and there are many mixed status and non families who are being torn apart by the endless benefits and privileges the status cousins have over the non. Add to that the constant hand wringing in the media over the past. Repetition is the strongest weapon of propaganda and brainwashing. It's been a rough go but there are plenty of other Canadians who have backgrounds in past generation trauma. My own family included.

I have worked in resource industries my whole life and have witnessed the hands-on interface between multinationals and the nearest Indian Band. Status contractors definitely get the priority when it comes to awarding work and especially in the oilpatch.

The PRC is a huge investor in the oilsands. There were articles in the Alaska Highway News around 2007 that labour unions were complaining about the fact that China owned one third of the sands and they were bringing their own workers in and building from the ground up. Trudeau has no doubt assured them the pipeline is going to happen. At what point do they get to charge around the globe and protect their interests the way the US has been doing?
