Smelling sulfur can be a symptom of an issue with your brain, but dont be alarmed. Has your family smelled this as well? Quoting: Anonymous Coward 66992274 Yes. The other members of my family smelled it as well. It was a little different than the rotten egg smell added to natural gas. It was the smell of a match after the flame has been snuffed out. |

User ID: 66334545 United States 12/21/2015 12:15 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | DH and I smelled a very strong smell of sulfur outside yesterday morning. We're located in south central B.C. Quoting: Curious J 63630379 We're in a rural area with no natural gas lines or sewers. The smell was away from our septic. It was in the air, everywhere. Could have been something spiritual, could be physical (I've heard some smell sulfur before earthquakes). Just thought I'd mention it. H2S gas plume? Careful its deadly if thats what it is. Maybe a sinkhole near you has opened up. ============================================================= Noticing Miracles Is My Hobby The Bible - When you carry the Bible, Satan has a headache, when you open it, he collapses, when he sees you reading it, he loses his strength, AND when you stand on the Word of God, Satan can't hurt you! |

Quoting: Anonymous Coward 66992274 She said she and her husband smelled it...reading comprehension skills much? As for OP...could just be hydrogen sulfide seeping from underneath. Not a big deal if it isn't permanent. |

It is associated with volcanoes erupting or fireballs falling to earth. Methane gas also has a sulfuric smell and the earth, and especially the oceans, regularly release methane.
