You are correct OP. This is what I believe. We should love one another and be kind. It does not mean that we cannot dislike others actions, but we should also try to understand that we don't what they have been through. However, whatever they have gone through does not give anyone the right to be mean to others.
Correction to others who are mean or rude is necessary at times. It does not mean that one should ever allow the anti-Christ to be reflected from themselves. In other words, don't become the person they are.
Most people who are rude or mean lack love of themselves and from others. To me love is the answer. I cannot hate anyone. However, it does not mean that I don't distance myself from those who choose to be too egotistical etc. I prefer peace over drama and uncaring souls. Sometimes a caring and compassionate talk with those who clearly need to change can make a difference.
