A woman played dead to avoid being mauled by a grizzly bear. Only problem is, playing dead is an outdated self defense measure that has since been discovered to do absolutely nothing.

So, the bear mauled the woman.

Then, the woman's husband attempted to shoot the bear. Only problem is, he miscalculated the shot.

The bullet ricocheted off a tree branch and struck the woman in the chest, killing her.
