a few years ago, a group of mormons (in) texas were raided and their children taken by the State.

it made national news, just a few days later, it was found out the children had no birth certificates as no state hospital nor state midwives were used by the group. The Child Protective agents tried to get the state to issue birth cerficates immediatly, but the parents refused to give the State any infomation, within a few days, all the children were returned to the group and all charges dropped.

The State and the court refused to do anything with those kids because the state had ZERO jurisdiction to do so.

I personally know a /Jewish/ woman, born in Israel, who has her Original BC (feetprints and everything) in Israel the Hospitol gets a certified copy and Dad and Mom keep the original.

The woman has since become married to a US Citizen and lives here. Interestingly, about every 9 months to a year she gets a letter or call from "the US State Department or Homeland security "demanding" she surrender her BC. She refuses to give it up, of course.

The BC for the US are most likely stored at 33 Water Street in undergound (under seal level) vaults, which were damaged in a hurricane not too many years back, which also made national headlines. It is only speculation on my part the BCs are stored there, I have no proof thst is a fact.

i have been told the Bond numbers on the BC records are not registered for trade until 7 years after the State Registrar officially gets the BC and it is abandoned at the Registrars office by the Dad and Mom.

I have also been told the "birth announcement in local papers or Hospitol public notices is the States way of noticeto the parents the TITLE (the BC) to their Child was abandoned at the Hospital and to come claim it, when that does not happen, the Record is placed into the hands of the State.

i have no proof of that either, but it makes legal sense.
