With the variety of names the antichrist is given it's difficult to see where he transitions to a king.

We see him as a horn Dan 7, but not one of the 10 toes in Daniel 2.

He's part of the beast in Rev 13, but not described as a king.

We know the 10 toes/horns become kings when they receive their crown - so we can assume the same thing goes with the antichrist.

The only place I know of where this transition takes place is Rev 6:2

1 And I saw when the Lamb opened one of the seals, and I heard, as it were the noise of thunder, one of the four beasts saying, Come and see.

2 And I saw, and behold a white horse: and he that sat on him had a bow; and a crown was given unto him: and he went forth conquering, and to conquer.

In Daniel 2 - we know the statue only has 10 toes, and no 11th toe to represent the Antichrist.

This means he does not exist during any of the empires represented by the statues.

He does exist as a little horn in Chapter 7.

Is it possible to trace the rise of antichrist using Daniel 70 weeks and Daniel 11?

I'd like to use this person's commentary to see if that's possible:

It's common misconception for most "experts" to believe the covenant is a peace agreement.

No where does it say that in Daniel.

I for one think it's Obama's promise to prevent Iran from getting nukes.

Even though I believe the agreement Obama has with Israel and the UN is the one spoken of in Daniel 9 - I don't think Obama is the antichrist.

The reason for this is, according to Jesus and Paul he is not revealed until he stands in the temple and he declares he is god.

Immediately after this the great tribulation starts. This is 3 1/2 years after the "covenant". So how is that possible?
