I had this very discussion with my idealistic sister a few days ago. This country has definitely been brainwashed to be petrified of firearms. I asked her if she thinks it's ironic that the people that want to take away everyone else's guns are always found to be hiding behind armed guards themselves while doing so.

I got the typically brainwashed "but some people have to have guns" answer.
