Freeman is a liberal, and if he's running as a Libertarian, it's purely to draw votes from the Republican based on his celebrity, since celebrity (or a billion dollars) is the only way a Libertarian will ever get any significant number of votes. I'm a libertarian with a lower-case L, and have voted Libertarian in every election since I've been eligible to vote except one, but I would not vote for Morgan Freeman, and I can't imagine the philosophical purists in the party would even remotely entertain nominating someone as undeserving of a Libertarian nomination as Morgan Freeman. Hell, they're officially opposed to the FairTax because it doesn't replace the income tax with nothing. I don't know Freeman's tax policy, but I can guaran-damn-tee you he doesn't want to untax everything.
