You don't need help from others, but yes rituals are to help you make the thought more powerful.

If you want something, spend 5 minutes concentrating on it and play acting like you have it, "Wow! I have it! this is so great. I'm so thankful." pretend your using it, driving it, etc.

You don't even have to believe it as long as the play acting is real enough, you'll FEEL it and that's all that matters.

That's all the ritual you really need. Most people doing magik don't realize this and if they did they wouldn't bother with magik rituals.

Still others are into magikal systems like chess, its' their system, it's stimulating for them and works for them.
