its says messenger HUMAN messenger, probably speaking about Joshua if I am not mistaken.

Exodus 23, and its not Joshua, or any human.

Angel literally means messenger. Literally! The messenger of YHWH is not YHWH Himself. Obviously. YHWH's name was in the messenger, he carries out YHWH's will because it was his purpose.

A messenger delivers a message, that is what a messenger does; acts on behalf of the one that sent him. And the passage doesn't say forgive sin, it says forgive rebellion.

Its interesting the word of the Lord comes to Jeremiah, and Jeremiah calls the word Sovereign Lord. Kinda like the Word in Johns Gospel.

The Word became flesh and made his dwelling among us. We have seen his glory, the glory of the one and only Son, who came from the Father, full of grace and truth.
