I've heard of possible nasty effects of execution by leathal injection if that makes you feel any better.

I was in Gainesville in 1990. It was scary and surreal.

Yesterday at 6:13 pm.. est Danny Rolling was executed. This man slaughtered 5 young adults in Gainesville FL at university 15 years ago. I myself remember this as a co worker of mine had a daughter going to school at University there and rushed up there to bring her home.
He sat on our dime, on death row for over a decade. He found GOD. (most people can do the same, w/out going to prison).
The news talking heads chimed on about this execution throughout the 6 o'clock hour, into the 10 o'clock news. They showed the victims families, they showed, the protesters, the news... recited the hymn he sang as the poison flowed through his veins.

I personally feel they gave him way too much news time. (must have been a slow news day). For goodness sake he murdered 5 co-eds, and there is suspicion that he killled many more.

I say, when you execute these monsters of society, don't put it on the news.... giving them another 15 minutes of fame. Maybe just maybe at the bottom of the page on the news... a simple... Danny Rolling ... monster of society was put to death for his crimes....thats it. Nothing more.

While I'm on the subject... why the heck aren't we running these murderers through quicker...why should the monsters be given a decade on our tax dollar ? They should have a execution every hour on the hour, 24 hours a day. (ducks the eggs being thrown). Then how quick will the criminals be to kill. If the thought that they will promptly be put to death for their crime deters just one... from takin anothers life then it's well worth it.

As a mother to a young child taken away from this earth by a murderer, a common street gang banger bad A**....w/a gun showing off. I say why coddle them...why give them an anti anxiety shot before the execution so they don't feel angst before the lethal injection is administered, as this man stabbed to death 5 young adults, and put an entire community in fear...did he give these kids the option of an anti anxiety shot before he stabbed them and mutilated them ?? NO....why the hell should we care about his comfort ?

The media glorified him by giving him hours of air time, telling his life story, interviewing his family, and then showing his last interview. PFFFFFFFFFFFFT.... he doesnt deserve the fame ..yet the networks will make his life story into a freakin movie of the week, as others probably won't even remember his victims names.
