Obelisks? What could they stand for and mean?
Answering to this: from the thread

question was on Thread: Timelines To A Global Reset 2016-2017 (Page 53)

How many major cities in the world have such obelisks? Are they the physical projections indicating centers of reptilian power?

The Reptilian power bit is.. its own story.. and I know now that its more than that, if it is that at all.

I have listed the 10 most Known below ( [link to www.crystalinks.com]

I will keep adding to this response as I uncover things.. I would like to share what I feel and what i have uncovered while reading the works of Manly P Hall and others. There is a significance to this that runs deep... deeper than the surface.. as most things do.. Let us think of these like Acupuncture and consider this angle. Then Like the Chinese practice.. Consider what happens when more than one Needle is in place... is there a Chain Reaction.. Cosmic Response, earth outcry? Could Obelisks originally been built to healing a crisis.. past, present or future?

Some mentioned the Free mason's and they are part of this too... yet only a small present part not as ancient as we may think.. and their purpose may be abit off, but we will let that unfold from those here who know the truth about them...

Quote: THIS is the heart and soul of the Invisible, Inner Fraternity. The absolute darkest part of this heart is Phallicism, worshipping the erect Male Sex Organ. The obelisk is the major symbol for this worship, which is why you see obelisks everywhere associated with Freemasonry!

[link to www-tc.pbs.org]
I found the above and although it has significance it may take a bit to find it... and I am not going to get distracted by it now.

Listen to Albert Pike speak of the obelisk: "Hence the significance of the phallus, or of its inoffensive substitute, the obelisk, rising as an emblem of the resurrection by the tomb of buried Deity …" [Morals and Dogma, p. 393] Now, you know why you see so many obelisks atop the graves of Freemasons, for it is "an emblem of the resurrection of buried Deity"; the Invisible Mason believes he is becoming a god throughout his life, so the obelisk at his grave is simply the visible manifestation of that belief.

The obelisk was originally created by the Egyptian Mysteries of the Pharaohs, and is spoken of in the Bible. Listen: "… King Jehu said to the guards and to the officers, 'Go in and slay them; let none escape'. And they smote them with the sword; and the guards before the king threw their bodies out, and went into the inner dwelling of the house of Baal. They brought out the obelisks of the house of Baal and burned them." [2 Kings 10:26, Amplified Bible]

I do not have a lot of time to write this morning.. but I wanted to get this Research party started....

1. Washington Monument, Washington DC, United States – Standing just over 555 feet (169.294 meters) tall, the Washington Monument is the world’s tallest obelisk as well as the world’s tallest stone structure. Like many modern obelisks, it is not monolithic but rather composed of marble, granite, and bluestone gneiss. Construction began in 1848 and completed only in 1884. It is one of the most recognized symbols of Washington and even the United States.

Built in the shape of an Egyptian obelisk, evoking the timelessness of ancient civilizations, the Washington Monument embodies the awe, respect, and gratitude the nation felt for its most essential Founding Father, George Washington. When completed, the Washington Monument measures in at: 555 feet, 5-1/8 inches.

The geometric layout of Washington, D.C.'s streets and green spaces, originally designed by Pierre L'Enfant
[link to en.wikipedia.org (secure)]
, reserved a prominent space for a monument to George Washington at the intersection of lines radiating south from the White House and west of the Capitol. In 1833, the Washington National Monument Society, a private organization, formed to fund and build a monument to the first president that would be "unparalleled in the world." The Society solicited for donations and designs for a decade, settling on a design by Robert Mills in 1845. Mills' design called for a 600-foot Egyptian-style obelisk ringed by thirty 100-foot columns. The design was audacious, ambitious, and expensive, creating numerous complications during its construction.

Both were LEAP YEARS

In 1836 Robert Mills won the competition for the design of the Washington Monument on the future Mall of the National Capital, Washington D.C., which is his best known work. Construction began in 1848 but was interrupted in 1854 and not resumed until 1879 until dedication in 1885, thirty years after the architect's death.

2. Obelisk at Saint Peter’s Square, Vatican City – Located in the middle of one of the most famous city squares in the world, the obelisk in Saint Peter’s square is a 4,000 years old Egyptian obelisk which was transported from Egypt to Rome during the reign of Emperor Augustus. It was moved from the circus to its current site in 1586. During the Middle Ages, the gilt ball on top of the obelisk was believed to contain the ashes of Julius Caesar. However, when the ancient metal ball was removed, it was empty. This ancient monolithic obelisk is just over 25 meters tall

Points to Consider:

Architect:

Unknown Pharoah

Anyone want to find out who this was.. surely there is some trace somewhere? How can he be unknown.. this was quiet a important piece one that was so cherished as to be moved to Rome.

Location:originally erected at Heliopolis, Egypt, by an unknown pharaoh. Now Resides at St. Peter's Square, Vatican, Rome

The Emperor Augustus (c. 63 BC – 14 AD) had the obelisk moved to the Julian Forum of Alexandria, where it stood until 37 AD, when Caligula ordered the forum demolished and the obelisk transferred to Rome. He had it placed on the spina which ran along the centre of the Circus of Nero, where it would preside over Nero's countless brutal games and Christian executions.

consider that these obelisks record what they view

It was moved to its current site in 1586 by the engineer-architect Domenico Fontana under the direction of Pope Sixtus V; the engineering feat of re-erecting its vast weight was memorialized in a suite of engravings. The Vatican Obelisk is the only obelisk in Rome that has not toppled since ancient Roman times. During the Middle Ages, the gilt ball on top of the obelisk was believed to contain the ashes of Julius Caesar.

Fontana later removed the ancient metal ball, now in a Rome museum, that stood atop the obelisk and found only dust. Christopher Hibbert (page 178) writes that the ball was found to be solid. Though Bernini had no influence in the erection of the obelisk, he did use it as the centerpiece of his magnificent piazza, and added the Chigi arms to the top in honor of his patron, Alexander VII.

There is much to consider above, but I do not know that I will research anymore that I have already decided to below.. .for now at least.

Height = 83 feet=25.5 metres tall, supported on bronze lions and surmounted by the Chigi arms in bronze, in all 41 metres to the cross on its top.

3. Luxor Obelisk, Paris, France – The Place de la Concorde is the largest square in Paris, it is located at the eastern end of the Champs-Élysées. At the center of the square there is a giant Egyptian obelisk decorated with hieroglyphics – the Luxor Obelisk. The obelisk was given to France by the Egyptian government in the early 19th century, and was set in the middle of the square in 1836. This monolithic obelisk is 23 metres (75 ft) high and weighs over 250 metric tons (280 short tons). The origin of the Obelisk is the Luxor Temple, where it was one of two similar obelisks, hence the name. But the obelisk is also known as Cleopatra’s Needle – one of three Egyptian obelisk with this name. The others being in London and New York

All three of them are called Cleopatra’s Needle, even though they have nothing to do with Cleopatra and were already over a thousand years old in her lifetime. The London and New York obelisks are a pair and originate from the Egyptian city of Heliopolis (now Cairo). They are made of red granite, they are 21 metres (69 ft) high and weigh about 224 tons. The obelisk in New York was erected in Central Park in 1881

7. Luxor Obelisk, Luxor, Egypt – The Luxor obelisk is one of a red granite pair which Ramesses erected in front of the pylon; its twin now in the Place de la Concorde, in Paris. On the pedestal are carved the four sacred baboons who were the first to greet the morning sun.

Three lines of vertical inscription on every face of the obelisk repeat the names and titles of Ramesses the Great: The Horus, Mighty Bull, Exalter of Thebes, Favorite of the Two Goddesses, establishing monuments in Luxor for his father Amun, who placed him upon the throne; Golden Horus, seeking excellent things for him who fashioned him; King of Upper and Lower Egypt, Usermare, Chosen of Re."

When the one obelisk was lowered, in order to be transported to France, Ramesses name was also found inscribed on the bottom. Pharaohs were notorious for usurping other pharaohs monuments, and Ramesses was determined that this was to remain his own. The pyramidal tip of the tall shaft was covered in sheet gold which flashed in the sunlight, symbolizing the sun god Re in his brilliance. Colossal seated statues of Ramesses flank the gateway.

Re: Obelisks? What could they stand for and mean?
Great research, OP! All I have ever read about these obelisks is that they are steeped in paganism and have no business being in the center of our nation's capital or the vatican in Rome...or anywhere for that matter.

I live in Asheville, NC and we have a large obelisk, also known as an Asherah Pole, at the center of our downtown area, Pack Square. Confirms for me, in a way, all the rumors I have heard about the Vanderbilts, Sealy's, etc. in these mountains and why so many from various occult practices are drawn here.

I don't know much about their significance, other than there is a dark purpose behind them, but I DO know this...they are ALL coming down!

We were instructed by God in Exodus 23:24~
""You shall not worship their gods, nor serve them, nor do according to their deeds; but you shall utterly overthrow them and break their sacred pillars in pieces."

Now here is what we can expect~
"In all your dwellings, cities will become waste and the high places will be desolate, that your altars may become waste and desolate, your idols may be broken and brought to an end, your incense altars may be cut down, and your works may be blotted out."

Can't say we weren't warned.

Peace.
"If you confess with your mouth that Jesus Christ is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved." Romans 10:9

What is old is presented as new.

An Obelisk monument at its origin was a testament to Nimrod's severed penis.

Nimrod the first tyrant who led a direct rebellion against God after the great flood. Who originated Mystery Babylon religion with is wife,Semiramis

Nimrod, who later became Osiris is Egyptian lore albeit being elevated to god status.

The story regarding Osiris losing his phallus is a mystified one of how Nimrod lost his phallus.

An Obelisk is still understood and worshiped as such, but only my the higher level initiates in the various mystery Babylon sects. Be it the the Obelisk outside the Vatican or the various smaller ones built by Freemasons in towns.

An Obelisk monument indicates an area that is spiritually in rebellion against God. It's a district marker, an administrative subdivision for the kingdom of Darkness.

Re: Obelisks? What could they stand for and mean?
The real reason is that aliens antennas are exactly shaped like an obelisk. In ancient times aliens did not hide themselves pretending they were gods. Humans saw their antennas in places like mount Olympus and asked what they was for. Aliens (gods) answer was "it is used to stay connected with gods" and for this reason the shape of obelisk was considered a way to stay close to the gods and erected in most of cities.
