What's your opinion of the X-Files mini-series premiere?
POLL: Outstanding. BETTER than the classic episodes.
Outstanding. Never watched the classic episodes.
Excellent. I liked it a lot. I'm hooked.
Good. It's okay; but, it's not a TV watching priority.
Poor. It was just a detestable heap of psyop drivel.
Bad. I will never watch this type of sci-fi non-sense.
Other. I do not watch TV. Period.

Did the writers of this new mini-series get some of their content from right here on GLP?

Are TPTB concerned that too much information will be disseminated to the general public?

Will there be another season after the 6 episodes in this season-10 mini-series?

Re: What's your opinion of the X-Files mini-series premiere?
Outside of the wonky awkward porch scene between Mulder and Scully which was poorly written and horribly overacted, it was actually pretty good. Joel McHale does a very very good job of combining an Art Bell/George Noory/Glenn Beck vibe into his character. David Duchovny is the weak link in the show unfortunately, and if it's not him sleepwalking through a scene, he's just a shitty overactor. Gillian Anderson can do no wrong. I don't care if she IS a carpet muncher. I think she's beautiful.

Hope the writing gets better and Duchovny can wake the fuck up.

Ohhhhhhhhhhhh....and the CGI was pretty dang good for a TV show. WAY better than anything on the SciFi Channel. WAY better.

I was disappointed. It was really excited to see the old show on again, especially since I loved the X-files from the beginning. However, it has become another method to trash conservatives. I love the X-files. I wish the new episodes weren’t so politically motivated.

It through everything thing but the kitchen sink at the unsuspecting mind, If you didn't know the buzz words, it would've been a piece of crap to watch...

Everytime I saw Scully's face on the screen, I was amazed, what the hell happen to the girl? botox or plastic, I had to wonder.

Right when mulder is mumbling his way through all that info for about 8 minutes it seemed like the audio was growly and his words hard to make out.
Fix the audio or get someone else to do the mumbling.
I bet that script weighed 20 pounds.
Too much words, just like on Big Bang theory.

Re: What's your opinion of the X-Files mini-series premiere?
I think 'they' are changing strategy now - this stuff can't be hidden anymore so it gets revealed in a fictional TV show. They also lump it all in together - 9/11, Roswell, aliens, free energy, shadow government etc. So now anyone trying to talk about those topics immediately gets dismissed as someone who just watches too much X Files.

It was an attempt to condense and marginalize all the true conspiracies into one big joke. The average person who thinks 9/11 were Muslims, chem trails are clouds and UFO's are for kids stories will just view this as another fantasy tale. I don't think they did a good job of making any of it more "believable" to the average person.

Re: What's your opinion of the X-Files mini-series premiere?
Personally I do not believe in "aliens". So I like the new direction.

I do think that before Noah's flood the Nephilim may have had highly advanced technology that survived a few generations after the flood. There is clear archeology evidence of amazing ancient technology (Coral castle guy who figured out how to move huge stone blocks), machine tools, nukes, spacecraft, etc.

Some of this ancient technology is still known and secret and you can be sure the elites guard it.

Tesla figured out zero point energy, although probably not how to control it.

The sightings of the "greys" I take to be hybrids from classified experiments....human DNA and I don't know what. Amphibian maybe. Horrific, abominable.

Looking forward to the series.

Perhaps but it does speak to the converted and may turn some people on to investigating these things further. Who cares though it isn't activism, it's a Sci-fi show.
