What's your opinion of the X-Files mini-series premiere?

I was rather surprised myself at the number of references to such topics.

They've been saying that since year 1 of X-Files.

X-Files woke up a huge segment of America. More importantly, it introduced the entire Western world to the concept of a secret, malevolent authority structure that uses lies to cover lies for purposes that are twisted, obfuscated, and altogether malicious.

I hv to wait unti i can buy it bc i dont hv cable or other tv access, just dvds, itunes movies, google play....

I am looking forward to watching it though....i am sure it will be good.

Was it me, or did it seem like they where using EVERY key line from every X-Files episode of the past, from "I believe" 'to Dayna telling Moulder "You are too close", bringing up his sister, to every other key line in every other show, it looked like to me one big montage. My friend even said they could of spliced key lines from old shows and digitized them and CG'd them in.

And in the intro, they showed pictures from old shows like these where in the files, but some of those pictures happened in scenes where there should of been no one else around, let alone a camera, so that kind of stuck out to me.

I think the explosions looked like Key & Peel, or Saturday night live explosions. So for that I was disapointed it felt kind of low budget-ish to me I was slightly disappointed.

Good point, TC; "stole" is a very strong description.

But, there are not a lot of places online like GLP where so many folks freely post, frequently view, and openly discuss these topics.

If I was a script writer and wanted to get a good feel for what's out there right now and people's opinions on it, GLP would definitely be in my research list.

Overall, Pretty good, but not crazy about the the Libtard spin.

Gotta say they did a good job of combining just about Every Conspiracy I believe in, into one cohessive ball that Could possibily explain everything. And wouldn't be surprised if this could be a reveal of the truth from tptb to make All Conspiracies look like fiction.

I plan to keep watching.
