Earthquake in NJ?

Frackers gonna frack.

Reports of a plate falling off a table in Rehoboth.

Fracking at the NJ shore? It was two vibrations. One around 1:10 PM then around 1:20ish. Reports coming in on the radio here but nothing at the USGS. Possibly sonic booms from military jets?

Where you at in NJ? Im currently in Toms River and hearing alot of reports all the way down to Cape May.

I'm right across the river from philly and havnt noticed anything or heard anything

Isnt USGS updated all the time? If it wasn't an earthquake possibly jets going super sonic?

Live in Hudson County at north end of Jersey City. Did NOT feel anything. When did this take place?

Past half hour or so. All over twitter. I'm currently at work in my shop and the garage door just started shaking violently. Thought it was a big rig or the wind but after checking it out didn't see a truck or anything.

I'm by long beach island and I felt both. The first I was outdoors for and seemed to radiate up into buildings from the ground. No idea what is was and wasn't bad enough to knock anything off the wall here but definably bizarre, I've never felt anything like it before.

Update for specific location ocean county, manahawkin nj, felt both.

Husband and son in Atlantic City.Just sent them a text to see if they felt it.

Thought it was the maintenance guys trying to put some ladders against the building, but nobody was there.

Wasn't as big as that 4. Something a few years back, but wow!

I'm in Old Bridge area, northern Monmouth co.

Some residents of South Jersey reported this afternoon another round of ground shaking -- the second since last November.

"Felt the earth move under my feet in Toms River," reported Taneil Sharkey at 1:38 p.m. today on JSHN.

In Mystic Island, Roman Isaryk says the shaking "lasted about 10 seconds," adding that there are reports from around the area.

But it wasn't due to an earthquake.

According to the United States Geological Survey, there were no tremors registered today in New Jersey or throughout the region.
