Extremely loud air blast sounds over NE Ohio.

It stopped, and I got the last two blasts of it on video. It sounded like extremely large speakers with White Noise playing. The police department said they got a lot of calls about it. But that they don't know what it was.

if it's any consolation I just woke up from a dream of the east coast being nuked and not just that but being flooded as well.

It was really loud, I heard it over the television. I thought it was a low-flying plane, but there wasn't anything on plane finder. So I turned on the police scanner and ran outside and I didn't hear anything on the scanner. By the time I got the video on it was ending. It lasted for a good 60-90 seconds though

I didn't hear anything. But NE Ohio is pretty big. Which part are you in?

I believe the jetstream is out of control. I have heard what seems to be a high loud sounding wind here in NE ohio over the last few months. our weather is out of wack. it will be 60's this weekend and then will drop to 12 in like a day. also i believe CLE hopkins is a main haarp like facility.

okay Op that noise is pretty wierd. I dont know what that was but I vote you sit outside at the ready to record if it comes back. Get some hot chocolate first.

It was constant for about 90 seconds, then did two blasts, that I captured.

I know the Mayor, I'll check with him next week.

In OH and also NV it would appear. They do wait for night so they might be smart.

Air Force One taking off from CLE while eating dinner on the patio of the 100th Bomb Group restaurant 1000 yards away.

Occasionally we get some large, low flying aircraft, but not often. When we do, I check Plane Finder to see how large it is. This was louder than anything I've heard to date. An earlier poster talked about the winds, which I can confirm, but the night was still when I went out. I heard other people out talking about it, but didn't see anyone.

Imagine that short blast, but constant, volume not changing. Like an air compressor on continuously.

I kept thinking that if it were a plane, it would pass and the volume would diminish. It was constant right up until the two blasts at the end.

I was just trying to gauge the range. The dispatcher said that she had a bunch of calls about it. It woke one of my children, who was sleeping with a noise machine.

My first thought was low plane, then after about 45 seconds of it not getting quieter, I thought for sure I was about to hear a crash.
