Thats all the proof I need to know he was a liar and a false teacher. Quoting: Anonymous Coward 70237603 But theres more. He say he was rejected by all of Asia. And Ephesus in Asia was praised by Jesus for rejecting false teachers. I.E paul was one of the false teachers rejected by Ephesus. Paul never called Jesus a curse for goodness sake. The law reveals the Curse within us because of sin. Jesus became the serpent on the pole (sin) but he hmself knew not sin and defeated sin for us(became the curse) for us. where do you guys get such crazy stuff from? |

He told them to go into all the world and teach whatsoever He had commanded them. Now if dispensationalist say that the N.T. Started after His death, then why would He command them to teach the supposed O.T. truths? Why would he tell them one thing and then go seek an unrepentant murderer to spread a new gospel? In Revelation chapter 2 we read that Christ is commending the church of Ephesus for one particular deed. That deed was they tried those who called themselves Apostles and found them liars. Paul screws himself in 2 Timothy 1:15 when he tries to speak badly about one particular church that didn't like him. And it was Ephesus! And Paul even mentions the pastor and assistant pastor by name, Phygellus and Hermogenes. O.P. this should settle it. John 21: 15-24 settle it. Jesus with his own mouth chose and Ordained Paul. Who is this disciple that took on Peter? and who is this disciple that was peters mentor when Peter died. (Will take you where you would not). It was Paul. Paul is the one Jesus is talking about here. you see... Pete was afraid to die for Jesus thus Jesus asked him three times if he loved him. the he said when you were young, you put your clothes on and went where you wanted . But when you get older, another will take you by the hand and take you where you would not want to go (death) Paul can be the only one to fit this description of the disciple talked about in this passage. Jesus himself ordained Paul. Peter goes on to inquire about who he is and Jesus just told him not to worry about it and what is it to him if he told him to wait until he came again....you just feed my sheep...he'll come. The last verse goes on to say that what this disciple writes is true!.... here it is below. This all came through prayer. "15 When they had finished eating, Jesus said to Simon Peter, “Simon son of John, do you love me more than these?” “Yes, Lord,” he said, “you know that I love you.” Jesus said, “Feed my lambs.” 16 Again Jesus said, “Simon son of John, do you love me?” He answered, “Yes, Lord, you know that I love you.” Jesus said, “Take care of my sheep.” 17 The third time he said to him, “Simon son of John, do you love me?” Peter was hurt because Jesus asked him the third time, “Do you love me?” He said, “Lord, you know all things; you know that I love you.” Jesus said, “Feed my sheep. 18 Very truly I tell you, when you were younger you dressed yourself and went where you wanted; but when you are old you will stretch out your hands, and someone else will dress you and lead you where you do not want to go.” 19 Jesus said this to indicate the kind of death by which Peter would glorify God. Then he said to him, “Follow me!” 20 Peter turned and saw that the disciple whom Jesus loved was following them. (This was the one who had leaned back against Jesus at the supper and had said, “Lord, who is going to betray you?”) 21 When Peter saw him, he asked, “Lord, what about him?” 22 Jesus answered, “If I want him to remain alive until I return, what is that to you? You must follow me.” 23 Because of this, the rumor spread among the believers that this disciple would not die. But Jesus did not say that he would not die; he only said, “If I want him to remain alive until I return, what is that to you?” 24 This is the disciple who testifies to these things and who wrote them down. We know that his testimony is true." |

Quoting: Anonymous Coward 71371737 Paul For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures; And that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures: Paul For we preach not ourselves, but Christ Jesus the Lord; and ourselves your servants for Jesus' sake. Paul Knowing that a man is not justified by the works of the law, but by the faith of Jesus Christ, even we have believed in Jesus Christ, that we might be justified by the faith of Christ, and not by the works of the law: for by the works of the law shall no flesh be justified. Paul For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: Not of works, lest any man should boast. For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works, which God hath before ordained that we should walk in them. Paul That at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of things in heaven, and things in earth, and things under the earth; And that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father. Paul For the grace of God that bringeth salvation hath appeared to all men, Teaching us that, denying ungodliness and worldly lusts, we should live soberly, righteously, and godly, in this present world; Looking for that blessed hope, and the glorious appearing of the great God and our Saviour Jesus Christ; Who gave himself for us, that he might redeem us from all iniquity, and purify unto himself a peculiar people, zealous of good works. These things speak, and exhort, and rebuke with all authority. Let no man despise thee. Paul |
