Finally a competent mind speaks.. I played football and anyone who has played knows that great defenses always win. The reason being is pretty simple. With a great defense (all 3 levels from D-line to secondary) the opposing offense, no matter how good they are, will struggle because they must execute as one body. As a defense you have to play assignment football. If you are a better athlete you will win against your man every time. What you saw tonight was no different. Plus, Offensive players must catch the ball and run.. A defense just has to plaster you butt. So, a great defense ALWAYS WINS. It has been like this forever. panthers played great defense too, but could not come up with the huge turnover deep in the opponents end of the field as Denver did twice.

I know this is now not a thread that will get much
more attention if any but I have to tell you...

I just heard the National Anthem sung by Beyonce on a radio
station and it WAS...right up there with one of the most moving renditions I have ever heard. It made me want to cry though. Aside from giving me goose bumps.....it made me sad
to think and reminisce about how great this nation was but how much it has changed and going into a different direction.
It seems everything old and of the past is being replaced with something else.

Hearing this rendition of the National Anthem brought to mind when we really were one nation under GOD, one people with one culture and one language within our borders and we all were assimilated into one body with a national patriotic
mind with American pride.

How things have changed....and that is what saddened me to hear the National Anthem...because it brought back memories.

What I hated about last 5 mins of the game.

The announcers for the game saying:

1. Peyton's last game.
2. Peyons swan song.
3. Peyton's old, his last dance.

Fuck off announcers, the booth, NFL, all the producers trying to make a "moment".

Fuck in the last 5 mins they couldn't go 30 seconds talking about Peyton's last game, last pass.

The war pieces of those announcers must of been crying, yelling "get Peyton to say he is retiring". SAY IT!!!!!!

Fuck, then they asked him like twice after he quarterbacks a Super Bowl win.
