Thank you! The sizes of those holes, and that they healed in part or entirely, amazing! They must have known about keeping bacteria in check. And the surgery itself--ouch.
Why would they do this? And also, the two skull bones instead of the three typical cranial bones. Odd.
Do you think the trepanning was part of altering the head or altering the mind?
