Placebo birth control question

My son's g.f. has been sick, vomiting, losing weight n fatiqued lately. I asked her if she's pregnant n she says I dont think so. I take my birth control reguraly. Then she says she only has her cycle every 3 months because she's on placebo birth control because she has seizures with regular birth control.

I tried to look online to research if u can get pregnant with placebo b.c. and found nothing.
So, I'm asking if anyone knows.
