I thought about that.

But I think, for one thing, it helps bump threads. If people do not want to say something original themselves, they might be willing to post smilie or gif.

And, yes, this might sound stupid, but sometimes a facial expression expresses your feelings better than words can.


What was kind of getting to me was that people kept using the same gifs over and over again from the list given at the bottom. I mean it makes sense ACs have to do that, because it is all they are allowed to do, but maybe if there are good enough gifs it will inspire them to get an account.

So basically posting gifs when there is a limited number to choose from gets old and non-expressive, but if there is a TON of choices, it is more clearly expressing what you want to. And bump the thread.
