Quoting: I_am_who_I_am Apparently if I use the a compression feature to remove every 2nd, 3rd, or 4th, frame, the gif does not actually upload here. It says it uploaded successfully, but it doesn't show that it is waiting to be approved. So I guess the file itself is incomplete or something when I do that. Maybe if there are some great ones that it skipped I will work on them again. You are correct. I've experienced the same issue with highly compressed gif's. And in some cases, only the first frame of the animation is displayed. Also, if the "Short Name" you give the image is greater than 15 characters, the same thing will happen. It uploads successfully; but, it is actually discarded by the uploader algorithm ... and does not increment the count of pending approvals. :wolf_footer_msg: |

You might have reached the limit on the number you're allowed to upload. Pretty sure there is a limit. Also, sometimes they need to be under 200k.... I make mine come in around 190k to be sure. I do all of mine in photoshop and use the export to web feature to test them and get them just so. That's a lot of effort to make so many of them. Nice of you to do that! They look great too! |
