Anonymous Coward User ID: 60682038 United States 03/08/2016 10:56 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | I am due to have my 4th child any day now. Labor has never been too bad for me fortunately, so I'm happy to give birth naturally (minus masturbation). I do know that some women have terrible pain during labor though, so I won't judge as to how they choose to handle it. It's probably a lot safer & healthier for the baby than many of the pain relief drugs that are given. I don't understand why so many people think sex & masturbation are such taboo subjects. I mention masturbation to my husband & he turns as red as a 9 yr old boy. He can't even have a serious conversation about the topic. I find it strange for adults not to be able to speak freely about this topic. If masturbation helps some women progress through the stages of labor, so be it. It's a safer alternative to having a large needle stabbed into your spine, which can potentially cause some serious issues. |

Obviously not in the hospital with lots of people around, but in the comfort of your own home with your partner there..... Quoting: VioletR Its what you do to make the baby. What better pain relief? I can understand why it would help pain, aside from the physiological reasons....doing it during menstruation relieves pain... It doesnt have to be a purely 'sexual' thing! i would think with the pain thats going on down in that region for a lady, the last thing she'd be thinking about is rubbing one out. no pun intended....lol that'd be like when i have a really bad case of diarrhea i would like to jerk off to help it out.....? right? no ? I genuinely considered it during labour for pain relief :) I dont think your penis is as connected to your arse as the clitoris is to the uterus and vaginal passage OP- there are more uptight sexist losers here than i thought. of course it should be done if it works- animals do something similar- with their minds, rather than physical masturbation. people need to take a chill pill and lose their bullshit uptight judgments |

During a difficult labor where we were considering using forceps, I was told to manipulate by my old attending physician and mentor, certain parts of the vaginal wall during a patient's difficult labor. Yes the baby came out immediately after the procedure. |

The pain of childbirth is so intense that literally its a life and death struggle with ten percent of women dying before medical intervention 10 seconds of pleasure wouldn't help Its likes a drop of water on a desert Also my lady says she only orgasms from me, she feels a sharing and passing of mild electric current from another human that causes the orgasm. |

Can u experience pleasure and pain at the same time? Quoting: Anonymous Coward 45363545 I have done before. I was curious when I read the article because when I was in labour with my second child, I seriously considered doing this for pain relief....even asked my husband to go home and get the rampant rabbit but as it turned out the baby decided to make her appearance a bit quicker! i did too.it was crazy but i actually thought it might help. i didnt try though...the second one came in three hours, plus you never get privacy anyway so i wasnt about to attempt it. |

Pain medication can reach the brain of the child and be probably the cause of lifelong problems like autism or adhd. Me , as a male, I have no experience with the matter. I always wonder why doctors keep using the horizontal position, giving birth on a bed, as the standard. They must be crazy. If I were a woman I would try CES, cranial electro stimulation, for pain control. Massive production and release of endorphins and serotonin in the brain, not external drugs. --------------------------- Question to the women on this thread: If you had child birth through a CS....did you have the impression that it was more difficult to bond with that child? Compared to the stories of your friends that had natural childbirth? If you think a thread is important enough for others to read, go to page one and click on the green pin!!! |

Masturbation and orgasms are only natural to the human body. I was taught masturbation is a disgrace and I should feel a shame about doing it while having orgasms. Yes masturbation is a sin but, we all are sinners. Now I know how our ancestors survive back then giving birth. This makes sense. Compared to the stories of your friends that had natural childbirth? No, not at all. I was conscious throughout the entire delivery only feeling slight pulls and tugs. The first thing I saw while I was still being stitched up was my husband standing there, holding our daughter, softly singing in German to her, then he looked up and smiled at me. We were all family, a close bond that is still unbroken. As far as the subject of the thread goes, I could not care less if a woman decides to masturbate during delivery. It has absolutely nothing to do with me and if it gave her comfort, then so be it. |

But obviously from this thread..there ARE a lot of sick fucks in the world who want to make EVERYTHING a woman does something to do with sexuality. negro please. |

I thought I was going to die and I was a very healthy, strong survivor type person. There is no way that an orgasm would have helped at all--it just would not have been enough to compensate. Besides, if you are having the baby at home and IF that pleasure really works, why not have your husband do it. Wouldn't that be a little more of a family bond? Why not let the husband do the touching? It seems weird that during labor someone would just masturbate and someone else would just watch. If it is so effective why not join forces and make a bond? |

It just seems so weird that everyone thinks the answer is always self. We live in a narcissistic world of selfies, masturbation, etc, etc. If it is a family bonding time, let the husband do it in privacy. |
