Why are there so many craters on the moon facing earth when the moon is tethered?

What if I were to tell you that the moon hasn't always been a satellite of earth?

The north poles and south poles don't exes it there really vortexes seriously

Gets one thinking. Could it have been a war between earth and the moon. Craters are bomb remnants?

1. millions of years there was a war between human and the mooninites

2.The moon has craters from asteroids that hit millions of years ago and no atmosphere.

Asteroids can still hit the moon facing earth.

Think about how that could happen.

Small to medium size Asteroids or meteors come from behind our planet.

The ones that would have hit earth either do or burn up in our atmosphere.

The ones that just miss earth and have just the right angle uses the space between earth and the moon to take a diagonal trajectory toward the moon.

These will either just miss the moon, miss it completely, or hit the moon the directly and since the moon has zero atmosphere, not a single one burns up and so explodes upon impact.

Over years and years and years of this cycle happening you get earth facing craters to match the craters on the far side which logically will more than likely have even more craters because the dark side does not have earth to do any blocking for it. Earth is the moons giant line backer and just like football no matter how big your line backer there will still be a bunch of sacks from blitzes that break through every season.

The better question is - Why is the dark side of the moon almost crater less?

In fact the dark side of the moon (from the pictures that have been released anyways.. if you believe them) is... boring.. compared to the earth side of the moon.

The Earth only makes up 0.006% of the Moon's sky, that's a pretty small shield.
