Investigation of FBI agents involved in LaVoy Finicum shooting shocks justice community

It's drummed into every police officer and federal agent during training: They must report every time they discharge their gun on duty and justify each shot.

So Tuesday's announcement that a member of the FBI's elite Hostage Rescue Team allegedly failed to disclose two gunshots fired at Robert "LaVoy" Finicum seemed inconceivable to former FBI agents and criminal justice experts.

That the bullets missed their apparent target drew even more disbelief. One struck the roof of Finicum's truck and another missed Finicum and his pickup.

I just caught the end of Hawk talking about it but it sure looked like 5 people standing around LaVoy's body. I'm like you, I'm still taking it all in.

Those incompetent son of a bitches. There were children in that vehicle, children that may suffer the rest of their life from being exposed to the death and repeated shootings. Everyone of the shooters should be punished to the maximum amount of the law. That makes my blood boil. To think that is the country that I live in, FBI, all should be punished for this behavior.

This is really sad that we the people are under assault, and especially people that a working on land the .gov illegally owned. I shed a tear for this nation on a daily basis. :(

You are uninformed: No Police were injured in this.
If we had a proper quality video( this one has been tampered with to blur it), then you would probably see him shoot at Lavoy's vehicle and this is why he jumped toward the vehicle.

BEND — Two Oregon State Police troopers were justified in their January roadside shooting and killing of one of the leaders of the Malheur National Wildlife Refuge occupation leaders, authorities announced Tuesday.

But a federal and state investigation continues into two shots fired at the leader, LaVoy Finicum, apparently by FBI agents, after Finicum plowed his vehicle into a snowbank and stepped out. The shots missed, officials said Tuesday.

In all, law enforcement personnel fired eight shots during the fatal traffic stop along U.S. Highway 395, officials said. Six were fired by state troopers and two by the FBI agents.

January 26 and again on February 5th and 6th during the
investigation by the Major Incident Team. Of particular
concern to all of us, is that the FBI HRT operators did not
