Message Subject DARK SENTENCES in a child's rhyme
Poster Handle Anonymous Coward

Very perceptive. We must also remember that it is our intent behind words that give them power. An innocent child could utter the darkest words and it will mean nothing but the laughter that rolls off afterwords.

Many children's rhymes, like London Bridges, stem from a very dark time and offer a story of hope.

[1] O LORD our Lord, how excellent is thy name in all the earth! who hast set thy glory above the heavens.
[2] Out of the mouth of babes and sucklings hast thou ordained strength because of thine enemies, that thou mightest still the enemy and the avenger.
