I'd like to hear from Europeans how they really like Socialism

Lots of people here in America are always touting how wonderful the European model of Socialism works. I would like to hear from real Europeans living in Europe as to what they think about it, i.e Healthcare, Education, Housing, Taxes, etc. I'd like to know if I am the ignorant one and it really is a great system, or if it has flaws that Americans for Socialism are ignorant on.
