Re: Old Glory (1939)... Patriotic Porky the Pig
Nice Porky Pig cartoon, only thing i noticed is how they left out "under God" in the Pledge of Allegiance, it didn't used to be that way..when this cartoon was first made. So you see, even though the message was one of pride for a country, modern man, took out God from the equation. This country was dedicated and founded under God, in modern times people forget this, we have become a nation which God does not recognize anymore and we richly deserve the wrath that will be allotted to us for the obvious destruction of our pledge to uphold this nation under his rules. If we stay our course perhaps things will improve and we can get back to the right path if it's not already too late.

Doesn't the Bible say to take care of the poor and unfortunate? If so, why do so many religious conservatives want to cut welfare? Love thy neighbor? That'll be the day. I think the bigger problem is that too many people pick and choose the rules they want to follow, as opposed to the whole package.

Just yesterday in Hartford I was part of s rally fighting against budget cuts to services for people with intellectual disabilities. They cut down on a few different MUCH NEEDED programs as well.

Our own Americans who need our help the most get shafted when there's plenty of money to relocate and give a good life to foreigners who want to basically want to kill us.

And liberals don't see how backwards this world has become...
